Gypsy

Gypsy is an adorable little BT female who was surrendered to AZBTR by her heartbroken elderly owner. She was moving to a facility where they do not allow dogs. **Update!** Gypsy is NOT 12 lbs of energy, she weighed in at 19.6 lbs of energy. I wish I could hide 7 and a half pound like that! Her exam went well and she should be ready for her new home soon. She is having some tummy issues but we feel that is it from all the recent changes in her life. She would do well in a home with other pets, or as an only pet. Her foster mom thinks she would prefer the calm atmospher of being an only pet. She just wants to be loved. Picture coming soon!

Lucy

Lucy is a 5 year old female who was turned into rescue by a breeder who was closing down her business. Lucy is actually Polly's mother. We are not sure how many litters Lucy has had but looking at her belly is has most likely been more than two. We are told she is very sweet, good with other dogs, seems to be housebroken and a big BT girl at about 35 lbs. She walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. As you can see she has one blue and one brown eye, but contrary to popular belief, she is not deaf. She must be relieved her breeding days are over and now it is time for her to be loved by someone special. Lucy will need to be spayed prior to adoption.

Polly, daughter of Lucy, is a 1.5 yr old female light tan and white boston. Quite rare! Polly is not completely housebroken and we are not sure how she gets along with other dogs. She is still quite the puppy and needs to learn some good manners. We are going to have Lucy taken to an eye specialist because her foster mom thinks she may have limited vision. Lucy will also need to be spayed prior to adoption. Stay tuned for further updates on Lucy.
