Polly Pupdate

Do to the overwhelming support we received with our fundraiser, we got Board approval to have Polly operated on last week. The surgery went well and without complications. The corners of her eyes are stitched together but you can still see part of her eyes. Her foster mom reports that all of the “white crystal stuff” is gone! Her eyes are quite swollen and it will take some time for the swelling to go down. Her eyes are reported to be very clear. She should be able to start to see soon!

She still has some follow up appointments and we will continue to update you on Polly’s progress.

Thank you to all those who made this possible! Polly will be able to see the world around her with new eyes. She has a bright future ahead of her.
