Nathan and Jennifer Montgomery moved to the Phoenix area in the fall of 2004. It
wasn't long before they wanted to add a new member to their family. After researching
different breeds and organizations, they decided to adopt a boston terrier from
the Arizona Boston Terrier Rescue. Within a few months (September 2005), the Montgomery's
were approached with news that an eight month old male Boston had recently been
surrendered. They met their new dog,
Jiggy, and brought him home with great excitement.

The couple quickly discovered that Jiggy had a passion for chewing on pillows, towels,
shoes, and rocks! He was quite a handful! Due to Jiggy's behavioral issues, the
Montgomery's hired a private trainer to help them manage their disobedient, yet
lovable pup. After several training sessions, Jiggy's manners were much improved.
The family of three settled into a nice routine, including evening walks and attending
Boston Terrier Rescue events. It was at one of these events that they ended up adding
yet another member to their family.
Nathan, Jennifer, and Jiggy attended the Boston Terrier Easter Egg Hunt in the spring
of 2006. A nine month old male Boston named
Sampson had been surrendered that morning by a family who was unable to
care for him. A volunteer from the rescue organization brought Sampson to the event.
Jiggy and Sampson, both 30-plus pound Bostons, instantly hit it off. The two dogs
were inseparable and everyone at the event couldn't help but notice the connection
(including Nathan and Jennifer). After some discussion, the couple decided to take
Sampson home as a foster dog. With Sampson's happy-go-lucky attitude, he fit right
into his new home and the Montgomery's decided to adopt him. Nathan and Jennifer
couldn't be happier with their two boston terriers and enjoy the love and playfulness
that Jiggy and Sampson bring to their home!
