We were happy to hear from this wonderful family who adopted
Moe (now Buster), who they adopted in October 2007, and
Spike, who joined their family in April 2008. From some rough play between
Buster and Spike (there is quite the weight difference there!), Buster suffered
a back injury but we are happy to hear that he is getting better. Buster and Spike
also share their home with an older BT sister. Here is the email we received from
Buster and Spike’s mom and dad:

Buster (Moe) is doing much better. He is still not 100%, but he has improved greatly.
He has some motor control problems with his back legs yet, but he is back to his
energetic mischievous self. Spike has settled in just fine. He and Buster are bosom
buds. (See attached pic.) He has yet to loose any weight. We can't walk him outside
because he can't take the heat at all. He does however love the pool and has taken
a proprietary interest in everything that goes in it. Swim tubes, skimmer nets,
etc. are invaders that must be removed and vigorously chewed. He's kind of obsessed
but we're working on it. He does like to sit on the step and get wet and he can
swim.

AZBTR thanks them for opening their home to two boys who needed love.
