Jake is a Border Collie/Boston Terrier Mix, who is about 2 years old and at 40 lbs, a little bigger than your average BT. He has the agility and speed of a Border Collie and the silly and playful attributes of a Boston. He is a complete sweetheart with humans and loves to give kisses, snuggle and have his belly rubbed. He has made many four-legged canine friends at his foster home and does best with those pups that are well-socialized and polite. He loves to run, box and play with his foster dog siblings and would do it all day if they could keep up! 

Jake is an absolute rockstar on the leash and true to his Border Collie roots, LOVES having a job to make his human proud. He loves the outdoors, the treadmill, a good game of fetch, has great leash manners and is both crate and potty trained. Lately he has also shown interest in swimming, so perhaps he'll tackle that next! 

Jake is a fun-loving guy with a incredible spirit and is especially intelligent! His perfect forever home would be with an active family (he'd be a great running/hiking buddy) who has no children or older children (so he doesn't accidentally knock anyone down with his size), a big, fenced backyard and lots of love to give. If you currently have another four-legger, Jake would love to meet them to see if they can be friends!
