Learn more about the Boston Terrier.
Caspar was a Boston who came from the Pima County shelter in very poor condition. He's an older gentleman that is looking for a quiet home and lots of love. He does well with other dogs that are calm and willing to snuggle. He doesn't have a lot of interest in play or fetch but he prefers sunning outside and napping on a soft bed or on your lap. He is housebroken, but will need a watchful eye because he doesn't bark! He will stand by the outside door to come in, once outside. A routine is likely best for him to make sure he knows where to go with plenty of opportunities. He can go on short walks and is very people friendly. Calm dogs are his favorite He does suffer from VF, requiring medication for life, and carries his right leg, but is slowly beginning to put it down to balance, which is great progress. He also will continue to need to put on some weight. He eats several small meals a day to help stretch his tiny stomach. His coat is now bright and shiny and he'd love to come home with you.
