***Adoption Pending***

Betsy was found as a stray and taken in by a caring family who called the rescue.  She was skin and bones, covered in ticks, and had a large distended belly. We checked her for a microchip and found nothing, we reported her to MCCAC as a found dog.  She was in such bad shape, we immediately took her to our vet to be looked at. She tested positive for parasites and started treatment.  Here it is a month later and she has such a personality.  She is a sweet loving girl, outgoing and playful in her foster home but needs time to warm up to new people.  She likes quiet walks where there are not many people or other dogs.  We are looking for a quiet home with one other dog and no kids where she can build her confidence.  

She is obsessed with food and will eat anything that is left out, she is also a counter/table surfer so she will need to be watched.  Betsy is spayed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped.
